Chapter 356: Chapter 356 – Returning to V-Shelter Survival! Revenge Date!

Days passed quickly.

Daily lives weren't that different from usual. Max live-streamed hunting some material in Mercenary Quest while Lily tried her best to finish her album. Out of 7 songs she planned to release, she had finished 3 already. It seemed like it would be done in late July or early August.

It was now June 14th. The couple visited the boutique once again in the morning to get their clothes. Lily was so secretive. She didn't even let Max see her in her new dress, saying it wasn't the time yet.

While he got the suit home, Lily decided to leave the dress in the boutique so they could take care of it until the party day. This district also had the salon she frequented for makeup, so it was perfect.

After getting his suit delivered home, Max and Lily enjoyed a short date until sunset. They returned home and continued what they had to do, meaning work. This time, Lily was tired of making music so she decided to livestream after a while.

"Should we play Survival to the End again?" Max asked Lily as he climbed into his VR Capsule.

Lily's capsule had arrived not long ago. It was placed right beside his, and she was tinkering with the setting inside.

"Hmm, how about V-Shelter?" She suggested hesitantly, looking at him with hope. "We've not played it much."

"V-Shelter, huh?" Max mused, remembering the second game he played as a streamer. It might be good to return to the game and set up a proper server for his viewers. "Sounds good. Should we make a new world? I kinda forgot what I have in the game already."

"Un! That would be great."

"Then I will set the server. Let's log in now."

The capsules closed with a whirring sound. Max's vision shifted from darkness into that of his Lobby filled with parkour obstacles. He wanted to make them prettier soon, but he decided to postpone it for later.

He swiftly created a new server lobby, bigger than before, by paying $200. He planned to host all his friends here in case they wanted to play together again. As for the community server, he could set it slowly later after the livestream was over.

Entering the server, Max found himself on the outskirts of a dilapidated city. The bleak atmosphere, heavy smoke rising, and the gray sky were really familiar and contrasted with the bright scenery from Mercenary Quest.

A wave of nostalgia spread. He took a deep breath to enjoy the pungent smell this game had to offer.

"Hmm, this is enough to enjoy it. I have to invite Lily and build a Level 1 Shelter before the night arrives." He said, operating the hologram screen and inviting Lily.

While waiting for her to accept the invitation, he set up his livestream.

[We're back to V-SHELTER! Let's kill zombies and Infected now. #V-Shelter #SurvivalGame #Zombies #Massacre]

[Livestream Starts!]

Just as the loading screen that showed his old V-Shelter clips played, Lily appeared next to him with a flash of blue light. Unlike in the past, she was wearing cargo pants and a brown outfit belonging to a beginner.

"I am here." She announced her arrival, "And I have started streaming. How about you?"

"I am about to change the screen. Shall we do the intro together?"

"Un, let's do that."

Without waiting any longer, Max changed the screen and did the usual intro.

"Yo, guys! We're back with V-Shelter Survival!" He exclaimed energetically, slightly imitating Flexy. "This is a revenge date from the past. We shall slaughter all zombies and Infected we found on the way."

"Un. Let's kill them all."

— Breeze's idea of date and LilyPixel's enthusiasm is really strange…

— This is nuts lol

— Only this couple has a date in a survival game. Didn't they do it before? In Survival to the End

— If Horizon Online has the Atlas x Ferin pair, the streaming world has the Breeze x LilyPixel pair. Crazy couple

"Hey, we're not crazy." Max retorted to the chat, "I mean, not as crazy as Atlas and that girl."

"Un, that's right." Lily didn't know anything, but she guessed that Max talked to the viewers and agreed with him. "We're normal."

No viewers trusted what she said and only agreed because she looked cute. Max suddenly wanted to hit them for some reason. Alas, he was unable to, as they were outside of his range.

'I will find a game where I can hit them. A battle royale… Or maybe a war game. That's perfect.' He thought as he sighed.

"Well, we've spent around 10 minutes here now. Only 50 minutes left before the sky turned dark. We have to move and build our first shelter soon." He said, looking around.

"Thankfully, we spawned in a rather large area. There are no obstructions to views, and there are walls here and there. Perfect to build a shelter."

Lily followed his gaze and nodded, "Un. So, we move to find Woods and Planks now? Should we split?"

"That's a good idea."

Knowing Lily's skill, Max had no reason to worry about her getting killed. She would do wonderfully alone, and it was faster to gather Woods and Planks needed to build the Level 1 Shelter if they split up.

"I will go in that direction while you go in that direction. If there is a warehouse, loot it first. If there is none, prioritize finding an abandoned factory or large house. Finding a heavy loot area will be beneficial for us in the early run."

Max explained as simply as possible, and Lily listened quietly as if she was taking a class. She nodded every now and then.

"Our priorities are Woods and Planks. If there is a weapon, make sure to get them. Take all ammo too, and herbs and antidotes. If there is armor that would be great. Oh, Scraps are also useful to buy the Woods or Planks we need if we can't find any."

"You mean everything?" Lily posed a question, which made him stop for a while.

He blinked and scratched his cheek awkwardly.

"Hahaha, that's right. I mean, everything is useful."

— Lolol

— Breeze is a master yapper after meeting with Jamal a few times

— kekw, poor Lily. She listened attentively and all she got was 'Loot all of them!'

— Don't confuse poor Lily with your bad explanation!

"Ugh…" Max groaned after reading the chat.

He had to admit. This time, he was at fault. But there was no way he admit it!

"I-It's not my fault, okay?!"
