Chapter 350: Chapter 350 – Information Regarding Colossal-Class Monster and Plan

— It's 04:12! You did it, Breeze!

— Under 5 minutes! Damn!

— You have gotten faster.

"Hahaha, thank you, thank you. I will get the reward now then. I hope you don't mind."

Someone in a jungle-like Lobby looked at the screen that showed Max and typed on the keyboard.

— I don't mind… It's helpful…

ClimbThatShiet smiled. He stood up, raising his toned body, and looked at the cliff behind him. He was a professional climber, attempting to climb the steepest cliff in the United Nations. And right now, he was in a bind and couldn't continue. Even climbing in VR World didn't give him a good result.

However, the video was very helpful. Watching the streamer called Breeze climb the building left gave him inspiration. He had learned something new.

"The way he gripped the thin ledge and how he moved his legs… It's different from me… He's flexible and focused on speed… Maybe I need to lose some of my muscle and focus on that training."

Finally getting something that he could try, ClimbThatShiet began to try climbing the cliff once again.

— I don't mind… It's helpful…

Max looked at the message last sent by ClimbThatShiet and accepted the mission reward.

[Mission completed!]

[100,000 diamonds have been donated!]

The amount could make any streamer droll. This was the biggest donation he had ever received.

'$2,000 baby! Even with tax and the cut, I will still get around $1,700 or more.'

While he was happy, he couldn't show it outside because he was 'forced' to climb the base. He coughed and continued the stream.

"Thank you for the donation. As I said earlier, I won't climb down the base. I will now talk to Jamal and continue the mission."

Saying so, he approached the yapper who had been looking at him since he arrived at the balcony.

"Jamal!" He called out to him.

"Newbie, you made it on time! The scouting team has just returned from their mission. Let's hear the details in the meeting room. Follow me."

"Alright."

As soon as Max answered, a cutscene started. He could see his character following Jamal inside, where many mercenaries had gathered.

Caesar stood at the end of a long table, crossing his arms. His body was still as impressive as ever, standing more than 2 meters tall.

Many parchments lay on the table surrounded by mercenaries. Jamal and Max joined the others.

"Everyone is here. Tell them what you see." Caesar commanded a lean mercenary next to him.

"Yes, sir." The lean mercenary stepped forward and grabbed a long stick, pointing at a map on the table. "We have confirmed the Colossal-Class monster, Behemoth, near Grook Desert. Just as the witnesses' information brought by Jamal, it had passed by several villages and destroyed them."

Mercenaries around the table gasped and clamored.

Behemoth, just the name alone sent shivers down their spine. Even Caesar narrowed his eyes.

— This is serious!

— Everybody in the room is serious!

— Everyone is gangsta until Caesar narrows his eyes

— This is so scary! Mom! Help!

"Well, yeah. That's somehow scary."

Seeing it the first time, Max couldn't help but mutter so. The pressure exuded by the man named Caesar managed to shut everyone down.

"Continue." A low voice escaped his lips and the lean mercenary nodded.

"From what we observed from afar, the Behemoth was going straight to Paradise Island. We don't know what it's doing there, but we can see that its belly is bulging slightly. We guessed that it's about to give birth."

The room was filled with clamor once again. Giving birth? Was the Behemoth a mammal?

Max was now curious how this Behemoth looked. From stories he read, Behemoth was described as a huge creature with long tusks. Its body looked like a gorilla, and its head was a combination of rat and elephant, having a long nose.

Having lived for a long time. Behemoth's body was covered in rock and moss. It was said that even trees grew on its large back.

Its size could be compared to a city. Just one step was enough to kill millions of people in its wake.

"That's the Behemoth I know. Is it the same as the one in this game?" He asked the chat as the cutscene continued with the scout giving out reports one by one.

— Something similar

— There are 3 types of Behemoth known in this game. The first one matches what you described. But the one in this mission is different

— Did you forget about the image you saw before you departed to kill the Medium-Class monster? At least this Behemoth has fire legs.

The chat was correct. According to the scout's report, the Behemoth's limbs were covered in what seemed like active lava. They guessed it was from Volcanic Ore that stuck on its body.

It didn't feel pain from getting burned as its body was protected by many layers of rock underneath, and the Behemoth naturally had high heat and cold resistance.

"Isn't this monster a cheat creature? How can we even kill something like this?" Max asked in horror as he listened to the talk about Behemoth's traits.

— Cheat creature…

— Yeah, you can describe a Behemoth with that. That fit its appearance perfectly

— No matter what, don't say that in front of them. Look at their excited faces. Stronghold Mercenary is filled with masochists!

— You are against a cheat creature… But, did you forget you have a cheat character with you?

— Yeah, Caesar can solo behemoth without a problem

"You're right." Max crossed his arms and nodded repeatedly.

The scout finished relaying the information they gathered and stepped back. Everyone's attention shifted to Caesar. The large man slammed his fist against the table. A loud sound resounded as the table cracked under the force.

"We will stop it before it reaches Paradise Island. Behemoth will be the most vulnerable at this point. Don't let it get into the sea and boil the water. Many marines will die from that and we won't be able to fight it on a boiling sea. We will stop the monster at Norfatu Valley. It will definitely pass this place."

"Oooh!"

"Prepare fireproof nets made from Grandmoo's fur and the spike from Sharkari."

"We need a heat-resistant pelt. Prepare a lot of health potions and heat resistance potions too!"

The people in the room began to run around busily. Caesar grinned at the sigh and looked at Jamal.

"Gather 5 people under you, Jamal. Your team will be responsible for taking care of Small-Class monsters on Behemoth's back and destroying its spike. Strip it naked."
