However, Lucas actually failed to hold his breath a while ago and had to be carried away by one of the Super Soldiers. As for Gene, he was already a little groggy after inhaling some of the sleeping gas.

The estate was silent, the tension thick as Shane weighed the fate of the invaders. His hand rested on the grip of his newly acquired double revolver, the metal cool and reassuring against his skin. The Super Soldier Vials glinted in the moonlight, their contents too valuable to waste on those who had sought to harm his home.

With a steely gaze, he made his decision. The invaders could not be left alive to threaten his people again. He raised the revolver, its twin barrels promising swift retribution.
