Chapter 249: Usage Of Internal Energy

It was his first time inscribing the Freezing rune formation, so Yang Shi didn't dare to be negligent. A small error and all of his effort and soul qi will be wasted.

His hands weren't fast at all. In fact, they were moving very slow.

  The reason Yang Shi was able to inscribe the Burning Petal Rune formation was that he had seen Lin Ying inscribing it before he did.

But for the Freezing rune formation, he only has theoretical knowledge. So each rune he is inscribing was drawn with utmost focus.

The Freezing rune formation was different from the Burning Petals rune formation. The properties of elements, the runic diagrams, all are different.

After one hour passed, Yang Shi's soul qi was almost depleted. But he finished the Freezing rune formation before the soul qi finished completely.

" I can feel that my attainment in the art of Rune inscription has made significant progress. I will reach the Master grade in a few weeks. But my soul qi is becoming a hindrance." Yang Shi frowned.

" Check this Freezing rune and see if it is working properly. As for the Wind Breeze Rune, you need to wait for a while." Yang Shi spoke as he left.

" You are the owner of this place now. It's on you to decide the fate of this place. But if you ask me" Uncle Han's voice turned softer, " I wish if you could regain its fallen glory."

" Uncle Han" Wen Ran didn't say anything as he remained silent. He looked at the fireplace with a distant gaze.

Suddenly, he clenched his fist as he took out an iron wok. He put it on the stove as he activated the Burning Petals rune formation. The flames blazed as Wen Ren poured oil in the wok.

" I still have some time. Till the last moment, I won't give up." Wen Ren laughed as he started cooking.

" Hahaha, Little Wen, don't worry. I will support you no matter what you decide. Since you have decided to continue, I will also help you wholeheartedly." Uncle Han nodded.

" This kid still has some potential." Yang Shi murmured.

He didn't leave immediately, but stayed behind the wall and heard their takings. Yang Shi was prepared to give Wen Ran a chance, but he had to see his attitude first.
