Chapter 245: Rune Master And Brush

Yang Shi carefully analyzed his learning from the spar with Mo Xiaowen. He looked at his Heaven Calamity as he caressed it gently. The saber hummed slightly in response.

Yang Shi's divine sense could feel a weak soul energy within the saber. From his guess, it should be a damaged artifact spirit.

" Unless I used some special techniques, recovering this saber will be very difficult. Soul techniques, I think there should be few." Yang Shi muttered.

The disparity of the realm of intents between Mo Xiaowen and Yang Shi was like heaven and earth.

" Get up Ruxue, Today is a special day for us." Yang Shi smiled.

" Eh? What happened, young master?" Bai Ruxue asked in surprise. Jin Yu was still sleeping beside her.

" We are shifting to a new house, Our house." Yang Shi smiled.

" What?" Bai Ruxue suddenly got up as she stared at Yang Shi with surprise.

" A new house?" She asked again.

" Well Yes. I bought a good new residence for us. Now, let's leave our talks for later. Get ready, we are leaving soon." Yang Shi laughed as he left.

Yang Shi sat on a stone chair as he was reading the book about runes. After his experience, he was confident in craft talismans.

" Mostly, runes are used in Talisman crafting. When Inscription and Forging merge, it creates wondrous treasures. Only a true Treasure Refiner can create all sorts of treasures." Yang Shi mused.

" Runes are such wonderful things. When used on paper, it becomes talismans. When used on weapons, it becomes inscriptions."

" When used on large scale, it turns into array formations. Changes, one thing to another." Yang Shi closed his eyes.

He could feel he was entering some sort of trance. He didn't activate his azure lotus spirit, but he could feel that he was in a special state.

" Young master, Shall we leave?" Suddenly, a voice interrupted him. He opened his eyes as he saw Bai Ruxue was calling me.

" Tch." 

Yang Shi couldn't help but sigh. It was truly unfortunate that such a chance occurrence got ruined, but it wasn't Bai Ruxue's fault either.

" Heaven is playing a game with me, eh?" Yang Shi laughed wryly.

" Let's go Ruxue." Yang Shi smiled.

" Yay, I am coming also." Jin Yu also came running.

The trio went to the Floating Cloud Restaurant. Bai Ruxue and Jin Yu, both of them were excited to ee their new house.

" This restaurant?" Jin Yu asked with curiosity.

" Well, It will be both our home and our business point. We are also opening a shop here." Yang Shi chuckled.

Yang Shi opened the door of the restaurant, but suddenly he frowned. Inside, there were sounds of quarreling.

" Mister Lin Ying, Please calm. It's that we are not paying you. I hope you fix the runes first then we will discuss the payment later." The middle aged man tried to persuade him.

" Talking about last time huh? Do you think we are fools? You didn't do shit last time. You are just fraud in the name of Rune master."

" Otherwise, how could the runes malfunction for the second time in this month?" Little Wen couldn't help but burst.

" Yo-You! What did you just say?!" Lin Ying stammered in rage as he pointed at Wen Ran.

" Mister Lin, He is just hot headed" The middle aged man hastily stopped Wen Ran.

" What is happening here?!" A shout startled three of them. Yang SShi strode in as he looked at the middle aged man.

" Ah! Noble Yang, how come you are here?" The middle aged man asked. " He is the Adept Rune master, Mister Lin Ying. He came here to fix the runes in the kitchen."

" I see, so what I the problem? I don't want nuisance here." Yang Shi spoke sternly.

" Problem? These guys owe me around seventy five thousand gold coins. Plus they wanted me to work this time for free again. How could I not get angry?" Lin Ying snorted.

" Really? Fine, fine! I will pay you instead." Yang Shi pinched his forehead as he paid gold coins to Lin Ying.

" Noble Yang, This" The middle aged man was startled to see Yang Shi's action.

" I will just deduct the amount from the selling price of this place. I am doing this for myself." Yang Shi shrugged.

Since he got the money, Lin Ying came back to his business mode. He said, " Sure, why not?"  He quickly went to the kitchen.

" Hmph!" Wen Ran snorted, " Everyone I just greedy bastards." He turned ad dashed out from the restaurant.

" Little Wem!" The Middle aged man sighed, but he didn't stop him.

" Bai Ruxue, Jin Yu, You can go upstairs and check the rooms. I will be in the kitchen and observing Lin Ying." Yang Shi spoke as he went after Lin Ying.

Lin Ying took out a brush with exquisite patterns. It looked very eyes catching as it has a lion's mouth on the tip.

  From the opening of the mouth, silky thread made a brush with a shiny nib partially visible within.

" Huu." Lin Ying breathed as he took out a small bottle and poured it on a pot. Thick black ink came as it had a bright luster.

" Is this ink is mixed with the dust of Perception stone?" Yang Shi asked curiously.

" Of course. Unless one reaches Violet Palace Expansion Realm, they need to use Perception Stone ink to replace the usage of Soul qi." Lin Ying spoke.

He dipped the brush in the ink as he started inscribing over the fire stove.

  He was doing it very meticulously. But after a few minutes, Yang Shi's gaze turned odd.
