Chapter 104- Consult

"System...what did she say?" Left in the room, Minoru lay on his bed and while staring at the ceiling mindlessly, he asked his sole source of information regarding the supernatural world.

To say Minoru wasn't concerned due to Rika would be arrogant of him. He could sense that Rika was strong and could manipulate his family into danger. Her lust for revenge, he had sensed it. However, despite his guilt, he couldn't allow her to harm his family members.

However, at the moment, he was more concerned about those enemies whom he didn't even know.

The succubus race was one thing, but what is 'Light' about which Akane warned him? Minoru has some ideas that it was related to the 'Vanquisher' which the System mentioned some days ago. 

And as he thought,

[The people on the side of Light—The Vanquishers. There are some people on the human side who receive blessings from God—the nemesis of the Devils. These blessings are given to them to fight against the Demons which normal humans couldn't fight against.]

Minoru hummed at that before asking, "And how do they look? Any specific way to recognize them?"

[They look just like any other human being until they don't use their Divine Blessing. The host can recognise them if a Light User is using their blessing but when they aren't it would be difficult to identify the Vanquishers.]

[Unless....]

Seeing those dots, Minoru frowned and asked, "Unless?"

The system took some time before the list of requirements was scribbled

[First: The host needs to level up and become a true succubus to gain the ability to feel the Light.]

[Second: To get precise identification ability, the Host needs to get in regular sexual contact with a Light User without using any of his abilities.]

Minoru's frown was now deeper as he straightened his back and asked in his mind, "Why is it necessary to not use my skills?" Minoru has become a little too reliant on his skills for fishing people these days—especially those with whom he only wants to have a one-night stand.

[Host has to be very careful around whom to use his skills since a Light User can sense the Dark Energy.]

"....so I have to lure them with my natural charm?" Minoru wasn't underconfident but he wasn't too overly positive as well. Surely he has tempted some people with his natural face, but the changes in his body proportions and using his active skills have always been part of the process.

[I am positive that you can do this.]

Seeing the encouraging message from the system, Minoru smiled.

After a pause, he asked,

"So how many people do I need to seduce and how many times do I need to sleep with them?" 

[Two people need to be ingested with your semen and the host needs to intake from two.]

'So two guys and two girls eh....' Minoru hummed while thinking. There was some uncertainty in his mind which can only be clearly by the System

'How strong are they, actually?'

[It depends on their Blessing and experience. Generally, a human obtains a single blessing upon awakening and a Divine Directive from the higher beings which becomes their life goal. If needed to be categorized then the Light User is ranked in the basic F to S class. And the S-class can even rival a pure-blood Devil.]

Minoru was surprised and a little apprehensive. Minoru knew he was far from the level of a true Devil. Even if he had to fight against Rika and Akane together, Minoru was unsure if he could have come out unscathed. And those two weren't even pure blood nor much experienced.

After registering everything Minoru asked again, "So...how do I fish the Vanquishers?"

The answer came out immediately,

[The host needs to level up.]

Akisu has never been so enthusiastic about anything as he was about the gym today. After all, today he was going to work out with his new gym partner and his crush—Miku.

He woke up early in the morning at four-thirty and by five he left the house after brushing his teeth and taking a quick shower. 

Until now, he never bathed this early since after returning home from the gym, he always had sweat all over so he preferred to bathe before school. But now, things are different.

[Wait for me near the entrance.] 

Akisu received the message from Miku half an hour ago. And now, in his freshly washed tracksuit, he stood near the gym waiting for her.

*Sniff* Taking a sniff, he decided to use deodorant once again but halted upon noticing a redhead approaching him.

Akisu raised his hand seeing her, but there was something that made him concerned.

Miku also raised her hand and waved at him from afar with a smile extending her lips—but Akisu could tell that she was forcing herself to smile.

'....she looks stressed.' Akisu could somehow tell that Miku was not in her usual mood and something was weighing her down just from her behavior.

"Good morning, Aki-kun. Let's go inside?" She greeted him in an energetic tone and held his arm.

However, Akisu didn't budge from his spot, making Miku tilt her head in confusion.

Akisu didn't know how he got the courage but he held her hand and interlaced their fingers before suggesting, "How about we take a walk around and chat a bit?" 

Miku's eyes widened slightly in surprise. 

Akisu didn't know what was the matter but given her reaction, he could tell that she was not expecting him to read her concerns. However, now, he was more determined to hear her problems.

Although Akisu isn't the best person to consult one's problems with, he can try to elevate her worries if he can.

There was silence from the other person, as Miku stared at Akisu for a good half a minute...before tears began to build in her eyes.

"You really are a great person, Akisu." With her eyes turning crescent and pearly droplets sliding down her cheeks, Miku uttered.

Akisu smiled helplessly at her and wiped her tears, "Now please don't cry and tell me what happened."

Although Miku (Minoru) couldn't actually tell what the matter had been weighing on her, having a support pillar like Akisu, who could detect her troubles without her telling him, made her quite happy.

Akisu is definitely someone Minoru would never want to get separated from.

A/N:- The plot would get a tad bit serious at times. The smut chapters won't be lessened and some new categories will be introduced.
