Chapter 364: Prince Tang
Chapter 364: Prince Tang
Tang Li pursed her lips but being thick skinned was a boon at a time like this, "I overheard her conversation with her friends. She was talking about confessing to Mo Yuhan. They were classmates while I was his junior and what more, I used to think he is treating me like a sister. I don't remember much about her but she was a beautiful girl with long red hair. While I on the other hand. So, how could I watch someone steal my boy from under my nose? I just had to steal her love letter during their P.E class."
Mark scoffed, "Look at youbeing all insecure about yourself. Although you stole her letter but she could easily write another one. Did you plan to steal all her letters?
Tang Li adjusted her position as she leaned back on the pillow before turning around to face him, "Why would I do that? As a kid, I had high IQ for my age. Teenagers require a lot of courage to confess to their crush but if the first time fails somehow, then their confidence will shatter to give it another try."
"Hah~ Not everyone is as shameless you. Cling to man despite him pushing you away," he muttered under his breath.
"I heard that," She nonchalantly looked at him.
Mark cleared his throat, "Did you recognize each other when you got married?"
"I never forgot about him and the time we spent together but more than a decade of not seeing each other had made his image blurry in my mind. He used to wear black lenses at that time" She said.
"What about him? Did he recognize you?"
"My hair was done by brother and after he went abroad, it was my grandfather. and it would look more like bird's nest with two braids or pigtails dangling near my shoulders. They made me wear thick-rimmed glasses sometimesI was a messy kid back then."
Mark chuckled, "Looking at your elegant self, I can't imagine how you looked back then."
Tang Li pursed her lips. Both her grandfather and brother can be perfectionist at times. Even if they did not know how to do those things, they would rather learn it before doing it properly. But when it came to her school getup, they tried their best to make her as ugly as they can.
"There is something else you want to talk about."
Mark's face turned red as he recalled the another thing that he wanted to discuss with her. He did not expect to be seen through.
Being the unruly guys that he was, he stood up and tucked her in the blankets, "We can talk later," With a wave of his hand, he walked out of the room.
Something seems fishy. Tang Li narrowed her eyes.
She suddenly thought of her grandfather. What was he doing? The old man must be enjoying his holiday in Singapore.
Tang Li stared at the closed door for a few seconds before thinking of Mo Yuhan. 'I'm not leaving. Try whatever you want.'
Tang Yichen's footsteps came to a halt as soon as he saw the scene in the living room. His Grandpa and his wife were discussing something ever so enthusiastically. When did this old man come back? What is he doing here?
Her pursed his lips knowing that his sister and him were busted. Looking at how happily his Grandpa was chatting with Mo Jia, he seems to know her identity already.
He looked at Assistant Rin. It had been so long since he saw this man with his Grandpa. He nodded at him before clearing his throat to get their attention.
Mo Jia looked at him, "You're here.." She stood up from the couch before walking towards him, "I thought you had to work overtime.
Tang Yichen looked at his grandfather who did not seem to have the mood to talk to him before he looked at his wife, "I didn't want you to burn the kitchen so I brought you food."
Mo Jia looked at the paper bags in his hand before looking at him, "Thank you. I was going to make the soup again but Grandpa came"
'Grandpa?' Tang Yichen looked at the old man who let out a 'humph' before turning his face away. So this pair of granddaughter-in-law and grandfather-in-law have been cultivating their relationship.
"Are you hungry?" he asked her.
Mo Jia nodded.
"Have this supper first. I'll prepare the dinner after talking to Grandpa," Tang Yichen softly said.
Mo Jia was suddenly reminded of something, "You could have told me that you're meeting your ex recently," she spoke up with an indifferent tone.
Tang Yichen who had just raised his hand to stroke her cheek froze. "Ex?" He asked.
Mo Jia blinked. He had such a big reaction. Seems like Grandpa is not lying. "You are not an infidel man. I trust you especially after the secretary incident. Meet your ex if you want to. Just don't hide it from me. I am not a narrow-minded woman," she calmly said before looking at Grandpa Tang.
A cunning light flashed across his eyes as the old man waved his hand, "Go ahead and eat your fill first. Look at you being so thin."
Mo Jia smiled before scurrying out of the living room without looking back at a certain husband who was standing there as if he was struck by lighting.
Infidel? He was not! Ex? He did not have one. And what did she mean by she was narrow-minded?
I want you to be narrow-minded, crazy, unreasonable and demanding. Push me to the bed and have your way with me. Hell, I'd even buy handcuffs if you prefer BDSM.
The tips of his ears turned red at the direction of his thoughts.
He shook his head slightly before sighing. In the end, why do you always have to be so understanding?
"Prince Tang, have you got something to explain?" Grandpa Tang's cold voice woke him up from his trance.
His lips twitched. Prince Tang. The last time when the old man called him that
