Eternal life begins with saving my clan

Chapter 85 : Why won't they leave us alone?

Waking from a night of passionate exercise, Su Yen stretched his body, feeling a pleasant warmth coursing through him. The early morning sun streamed gently through the slightly opened window, casting a soft glow in the room.

He turned his head to gaze at the pure and beautiful woman lying beside him, her presence a source of satisfaction that brought a playful chuckle to his lips.

"I was like a lost beast yesterday," he mused, shaking his head with a grin, his thoughts lingering on the intensity of their shared moments.

With a desire to freshen up, he headed to the shower, the warm water cascading over his body, washing away the remnants of the night's passions.

As he lathered up, his mind drifted to the system notification he had received the previous day. It had piqued his curiosity, and now seemed like the perfect time to check it out.

With a mental command, he accessed the notification:

[Ding!]

[Congratulations on becoming a man.]

[Rewards:

(1) Your luck and providence have increased.

(2) You've broken through to the Intermediate Foundation Building Realm stage 5.]

Su Yen's eyes widened in shock as he absorbed the information. He couldn't recall any specific actions that would have led to such a remarkable increase in his cultivation and fortune.

Intrigued by his confusion, the system responded promptly:

[Your dual cultivation with your partner has contributed to both your cultivation. Since you are significantly stronger than her, she received the maximum benefit from the dual cultivation.]

[Regarding your luck and providence, with her as your woman, her clan's fortune has merged with yours, amplifying it.]

Su Yen's shock began to ebb as he comprehended the cause behind this sudden surge of power and fortune. However, he couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility toward Huang Yin's well-being and her clan's prosperity.

As if reading his thoughts, the system chimed in again:

[Ding!]

[You did not steal her luck. Your union has blessed both of you with increased luck and providence.]

Relieved by this clarification, Su Yen muttered with a satisfied smile, "Ah, so that's what happened. I never expected such a reward for claiming her as my woman. If I had known, I would have made her mine sooner."

His grin widened with the realization of the unanticipated benefits their union had brought, filling him with a sense of pride and excitement for the journey ahead.

Coming out of the shower, his body wrapped in a pristine white towel, Su Yen couldn't help but admire the alluring vision that stood before him. But before he could utter a word, she beat him to the punch.

"What happened!? How did my cultivation increase this much?" Huang Yin asked, her wide eyes locked onto his face, her curiosity practically radiating from her.

Su Yen's lips curled into a proud, knowing smile as he sauntered closer to her. "How much?" he inquired, relishing in her amazement.

"From Early Qi Refinement stage 1 to Intermediate Qi Refinement stage 6!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with awe.

"That's a massive increment," Su Yen nodded approvingly as he drew nearer to her.

"But how?" she pressed, her skepticism now apparent.

With an air of nonchalance, he explained, "Of course, it's from yesterday's activities. I used dual cultivation to boost our cultivation."

"Dual Cultivation!" Huang Yin rolled her eyes, her doubt evident in her expression. Could any cultivation technique truly lead to such remarkable progress?

"You don't have to look at me like that," Su Yen assured her, his gaze unwavering as he locked onto her eyes. He leaned in and planted a soft, affectionate kiss on her lips. "You're my woman, why would I lie to you?"

With a wicked glint in his eyes, he teased, "Should we continue where we left off?"

Panic surged through Huang Yin as she quickly jumped off the bed, unable to withstand the memories of their previous night's intensity.

She had never expected Su Yen to be such a force of nature in bed, and she felt utterly overwhelmed. With an awkward movement and trembling legs, she darted toward the bathroom.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"Ah, see what you've caused," she pouted, her voice a mixture of embarrassment and playfulness.

Su Yen couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction. "Haha, I'm sorry, dear. But who could gaze upon your enchanting body and not lose himself?" He teased, adding a dash of wicked humor to the already electrifying atmosphere.

As he dressed in fresh white attire, his eyes danced with amusement, and his heart swelled with a sense of fulfillment.

Just as Su Yen was lost in the throes of passion and satisfying his most primal desires, an unexpected interruption happened.

His Spirit Comms, usually quiet and reserved, vibrated with an incoming call that demanded his immediate attention.

With a calm look on his face,  he sent his consciousness into the Spirit Comms to view the caller.

A sudden twist of surprise and shock appeared on his face as he recognized the caller's identity. It was none other than the Mountain Sea Turtle, his mount. Why would he call him this early.

"Master, hope you're well," the Mountain Sea Turtle's voice resonated from the Spirit Comms, its deep tones laced with a hint of formality.

Su Yen, trying to regain his composure, responded calmly, "I'm good. Why did you call? I'm not expecting your call for the next couple of days."

The Mountain Sea Turtle couldn't hide its delight as it chortled, "Haha, right. My luck is good. I've found some rare stones that I believe will be of great use on one of the nearby islands."

"Really?" Su Yen replied skeptically, his curiosity piqued.

The sea turtle continued, its excitement radiating through its words, "Yes. These are rare stones that, when processed by the humans on the island, have the ability to display images when injected with spiritual energy."

"Really?" Su Yen's voice rose an octave, astonishment, and enthusiasm filling his every word.

The Mountain Sea Turtle couldn't contain its glee, sensing the momentousness of this discovery in Su Yen's reaction. It promptly assured, "Yes... I have them with me right now."

Without wasting a second, the Mountain Sea Turtle added, "Should I send it to those men mining the spirit stone?"

"Yes! Quickly, I must get my hands on it immediately," Su Yen replied with fervor, the anticipation of this breakthrough filling him with excitement.

But then, as if an ominous cloud had cast its shadow, the Mountain Sea Turtle remembered something and spoke hastily, "Master, I think the barren land is in danger."

Su Yen furrowed his brow, concerned by this sudden revelation. "Why would you say that?"

The Mountain Sea Turtle revealed its knowledge with a tone of urgency, "I've received a message from the other three lords that three powerful ships filled with armies are on their way. You know what this means. They are headed to the barren land."

Hearing this dire news, Su Yen lapsed into silence, deep in thought, his mind racing. He pondered the grim implications of this impending threat.

And as his face shifted from calmness to a sharp glint filled with ruthlessness, he whispered to himself, "Why can't they leave us alone?"
