Chapter 40 Just Kill Me
40 Just Kill Me
Defeated during the direct confrontation, the woman became so wary that she jumped back even further, no longer daring to underestimate Levi.
It seemed she was the type to always be wary of anyone, more so than Jenny.
"Are you Jenny's boyfriend?" She asked again, which made Levi glance at Jenny who was trying to stand up properly.
This woman really dared to claim something like this.
When he saw her eyes, she quickly looked the other way.
"It doesn't matter who I am." Levi spoke while pointing his sword at her.
"If you have nothing else to rely on, I'm afraid you'll be buried here."
Not wanting to be perceived as talking too much, Levi lunged towards the woman right after he finished.
This time, the woman did not lunge back at him. She simply pointed her hand forward, and countless black bones appeared, sliding towards Levi.
Click!
Levi snapped his fingers, not countering the attack with his sword.
From his eyes, a bolt of lightning appeared then turned into countless bolts of lightning, each of which struck the bones, making them shatter instantly.
"What?" The woman only went into shock, wondering how the lightning from a 15th stage cultivator could so easily shatter her bones.
The truth was that the woman's spiritual energy had already been drained quite a lot as she continued to attack Jenny, which was why her attack power could be easily destroyed by Levi.
Whoosh!
She jumped back again as her attack was destroyed.
"Our business is not done yet, next time you two will definitely die." She suddenly spoke very coldly.
Surprisingly after that she turned around and when her feet landed on the ground, she quickly jumped away to leave.
She had evidently decided to run away.
It seemed that she was worried that over time there would only be more coming.
Although her physical strength was not that strong, her running speed was actually above the average of her cultivation.
She quickly disappeared from Levi's sight.
His gaze turned to Jenny's figure as he approached her.
Despite repeated attempts to stand up, she still failed to stand up so she could only continue to sit on the tree trunk while enduring the pain of three bones embedded in her body.
"Levi, please take me to the hospital." The woman did not have the slightest confidence.
In Levi's presence, she could only ask for help.
"Did you learn a valuable lesson today?" Levi asked her, not directly helping her, of course.
Asked, the woman took a deep breath, trying to calm down.
She shifted her hair to the side to reveal her still pretty face.
"Yes, next time, I will definitely not fall victim to my comrades. If there is even the slightest chance, I will act to take them down so that only I am the winner on this path," the woman replied.
This was certainly not the answer Levi wanted.
The lesson this woman had learned was not about the dangerous and cruel path she had chosen, but that she was rather innocent and next time she would be more aggressive than others.
"Looks like you really can't be saved from the darkness," Levi said, not holding back on his sarcasm.
"Levi, I know what you mean, but like I said, I don't like being lectured, and my choice is my right." The woman began to protest.
"And who's helping you now?" Levi asked her another question, which left her silent and awkward.
After pressing her lips together a few times, she said, "If you have a crisis like this and ask for my help, I will definitely come to your aid no matter even if it threatens my life."
"Hahaha." Levi laughed at her answer.
"Why are you laughing?" She asked.
"Is it your way of making you look good, unfortunately I'm the type who would rather die than ask for help from others."
Jenny, "..."
The woman's expression quickly changed, as if her head was full of things that confused her.
Unfortunately there was a difference between them, one was afraid of death while the other was not afraid at all.
Once she opened her eyes again, she looked cold.
"If you think I have troubled you, just kill me now. Hurry up and kill me," she said in a high tone.
She took out a rather long knife from her coat pocket, pointing it at him.
"Pierce my heart. That way, I will die in an instant. In the future, there will be no more trouble for you," she continued.
Her face lifted up as she said that, like she wanted to show that she was not afraid at all.
"How sensitive and childish," Levi said seeing her acting like that.
He even nudged her forehead with one finger.
"You!" The woman was dumbfounded with her eyes starting to turn red.
In front of him, she seemed to be so emotional and his cold attitude towards her probably made her desperate.
This could actually be proof that she was indeed sincere to him, but of course, as long as she was still immersed in the path of darkness, she could not be completely trusted.
"You have a lot of bills you need to pay me, so you can't die now," Levi said.
"Just wait a moment and stay still, don't resist," he added as he pointed his hand at her.
What he did was pull her into his Space Artifact so that he could get her to the hospital quickly.
Of course, inside that Space Artifact, he would manipulate the surrounding space to be completely dark and cramped so that she could not see and go anywhere.
Shua!
Her figure instantly disappeared, which actually surprised Levi a little.
If she tried to resist just a little, he would not be able to send her to his Space Artifact, but she did not resist at all.
After all, others would definitely be wary when sensing something wanting to pull them even if it was done by their own friend.
Jenny, on the other hand, did not seem to be wary at all or it could be said that she trusted him very much.
Levi shook his head and sighed before moving to leave the forest.
He went through the fastest route and then went to the nearest hospital which was of course not Charlotte's hospital.
When he arrived near the hospital, only then did he take Jenny out.
The woman looked very shocked when she saw the scene was different.
"Where was I just now?" She wondered.
When she hid her parents' puppets, she put them in her storage ring.
Since they were basically lifeless, only having a fake life, so it didn't matter if they were inside a storage ring that had no time.
However, earlier she believed she was transported to a space that was not the space on earth.
Only, it was not frozen and had air so anyone could live in it.
Levi was too lazy to respond.
He called for a nurse who happened to be passing by.
Of course, there was no need for an explanation. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
When the nurse saw an injured woman, she quickly ran to the hospital, grabbing a stretcher.
