The Dune Sovereignty, Eldric Wystan knew the current Emperor of The Dune Sovereignty Empire way before the Empire formed. Both of them became close due to an incident. By the end of the previous Era, Eldric, the man who will be known as the Prime Minister of The Dune Sovereignty Empire had the current Emperor, Charles, in a competition. It was a simple competition. The participants had to find Silver Lily Herbs in the forest. Whoever found the most number of this herb would win the competition and would also receive a powerful Skill as compensation. While Charles used his brutal force to steal all the Silver Lily Herbs that other participants collected, Eldric used his mind to do the same. When the Empire was founded, Eldric became its one and only Prime Minister. Since then, he has never looked back. He has risen to the top with The Dune Sovereignty Empire. Being the Prime Minister of The Dune Sovereignty Empire meant that his every sentence carried a ton of weight.

As close friends, Eldric and Charles planned to groom Garrick as the next successor. The plan was once Garrick took over, Eldric would also find someone suitable to take the role of the Prime Minister from Eldric. Especially the current changes and the chaotic condition of The Dune Sovereignty Empire were putting a ton of pressure on his mind. These days, Eldric always felt mentally exhausted. 'Perhaps, messing with the Istarin Empire was a mistake.' He regretted not stopping the arrogant behavior of the Dragon Monarch. The reason he and Charles allowed Garrick to continue is that they wanted to test the water, but who would have thought that this would provoke the Dragon Monarch himself? Her name was Misako. She is from the Beast Continent. She was from one of the few remaining human settlements in the Beast Continent. Misako was recruited by Garrick during one of his travels.
