Chapter 766:- Letter - Communication

It was early in the morning in the capital of The Dune Sovereignty Empire. The sun of the desert continent is as intense as ever.

The capital of the empire was bustling with activities. Everything was going as usual. Knock!! Knock!!!

"Come in...!!" A sleepy voice reached the ears of the Maid who just knocked. Click..!!

As she stepped inside, her gaze fell on the figure sleeping on the bed. Her whole body was covered with a blanket, curled up into one big ball. Sigh.....!!!

The maid sighed seeing 3 pillows on the floor next to the bed. There were a few more pillows on various parts of the bed. The woman sleeping on the bed was not resting her head on a pillow.

"Somethings never change.....!!" The maid murmured in a low tone. Her lady had a habit of throwing things around the room. Since she was a child, she has been like this. And even now, despite being over a few centuries old, she still hasn't changed. After one century, her maids have stopped trying to change this bad habit of their Lady. Without saying any word, Her maid picked up all the pillows and placed them on a chair until until Her Lady woke up and left the bed. Aside from scattered pillows around the bed, there was also a towel, and a few dresses lying around her bed. It seems last night, after changing their Lady never bothered to put them away. Sigh....!!

The maid then approached the lady. She noticed a book next to her. "What is that?" But that wasn't important. For now, it was important to wake her up. Today was an important day for Soraya.

"Milady, please wake up!! It's already 8 in the morning." When Soraya's mom was alive, Soraya was never allowed to sleep for this long. Usually, everyone in the Royal Castle woke up before 7 in the morning and had to be present at the dining table by 7.20. But today was different. The Emperor, Soraya's father, had left the Roya Castle last night. Soraya was told that King Charles won't be returning before the Afternoon. Apparently, he has some things to take care of and also he has a wedding to attend. But Soraya knew that the wedding party was nothing but an excuse. As for her brother, Garrick made himself busy with other work. Besides, the Crown Prince was notorious for bringing random women to the Royal Castle to sleep with.

It was King Charles who insisted on having breakfast with his two children. This wasn't done out of love or longing for his daughter. This was done so that if Charles had anything to tell Soraya, he could say it while having breakfast. This helped in saving time. "Liora, let me sleep for a little longer...!!" Liora heard a sleepy lazy voice from under the blanket. Soraya wanted to sleep a little longer. She always struggled to wake up early in the morning, and sleeping in the morning just felt so different. "Milady, I think you forgot that you were supposed to attend a party today." Although Soraya was heavily restricted to the places where she could go, when it came to socializing, such as going to events organized by the wives of the Dukes, the King usually gave her the green light to go. Hearing this, Soraya's eyes snapped open under the blanket. 'Oh....!! I completely forgot about the party.' Although the party didn't start until this evening, she had to make preparations for the party. She wasn't that fond of attending parties. However, these parties served as an excellent way of gathering information about the various things that were happening around the Empire. This was one of many sources of gathering information. So even though she was reluctant to attend parties where everyone licked her boots to gain her favor, she still attended them and connected with everyone with a big fake smile on her face. Liora is Soraya's longest-serving Maid. She is completely loyal to Soraya and no one else. Liora has been serving Soraya since the moment she was born. Her mom specifically recruited the 18-year-old Liora at that time to be groomed as Soraya's personal attendant. Liora is very dependable and trustworthy and often acts as a confidante for Soraya's deepest thoughts and concerns. Liora looked like a young woman in her 30s. She was a Beginner 4th-order cultivator and the strongest among Soraya's maids. Liora was 6 feet tall, which was really tall for a human. Liora had a modest figure that always hid under the long white maid dress. The long skirt hides her legs. Her legs were wrapped in white stockings. Liora was a stoic type of woman. It was a part of her personality. She very rarely spoke. While dedicating her life to Lady Soraya, Liora vowed to never get married. And even if she did, she would do so only after Her Lady has gotten married. Soraya came out of the blanket.

"Milady, Do you know what time it is?" The maid asked in a stern tone. "I am awake!! Hehe!!" But her maid didn't laugh with her. "Hey!! I just slept an hour extra." Soraya felt that her maid was overreacting. "Milady, a letter from the Istarin Empire arrived not so long ago." Hearing this, Soraya widened her eyes, realizing the importance of needing to wake up much earlier.

"Where is it? Give it to me!!!" Her relationship with the Istarin Empire will be the only way she can escape all this mess. She will be saved even if her father and brother fall, which she won't care much about. From the beginning, she has been against her father and brother. She never liked what they were doing, and she never liked the fact that their Empire had to be in constant war so that the weak leaves could be removed. Liora took the letter from the storage ring. Given its secrecy and importance, Liora didn't dare keep it out in the open. Who knows what might happen if it fell into the hands of the Crown Prince or the Emperor? "Here, you go!!!" The Emperor himself wrote the letter by hand. Since the Emperor himself wrote this letter to her, this showed the importance that the Emperor gave to Soraya and the communication between them. 'Previously, I had so much trouble sending a letter to the Istarin Empire. But with this, all of my worries have been resolved.' Soraya was relieved to read. She didn't think the Emperor would do this for her. This was very unexpected. What Aditya did really surprised her. 'How thoughtful of the Emperor....!!!' This simple move improved Aditya's impression in Soraya's mind. Since the Emperor was willing to do even this small thing for her, it went to show just how much he cared about their communication. [The aim of this letter is to address a few things. First, we have planted seeds that will hopefully destroy King Charles and Prince Garrick.]
