Divine Mastering Dragon System

Chapter 30

C30 – Guidance

“Alyssa, Alyssa, I’m truly sorry. It wasn’t intentional,” Choo Qin lamented, his heart heavy with remorse within the White Space.

He felt rather sheepish. Recently, he’d been preoccupied with spending money and charming ladies, inadvertently neglecting the Dragon Cub. Hastily, he fetched the finest meat from Thundery Castle to nourish the weakened Alyssa. The pale-white Dragon Cub munched on the offering, casting a look of reproach his way.

While most who acquired the Raising Dragon System would relish every moment in the Dragon Void to bolster their abilities, Choo Qin was an anomaly who had somehow managed to forget about his own system and another!

Having tended to Alyssa’s needs, Choo Qin’s attention turned to the mysterious door that had materialized in the White Space. This portal, which appeared after he completed the so-called novice mission “Dragon Battlefield,” led to the true Dragon Void. Without a moment’s hesitation, he stepped through.

A dazzling white light enveloped him, and he felt his body gently lift off the ground before descending back down. When his senses cleared, the landscape before him had undergone a dramatic transformation. Even with his mouth agape in awe, Choo Qin was taken aback by the breathtaking vista.

Dragons dominated this world—filling the skies, sprawling across the land, and perched atop an array of bizarre structures. Dragons of all shapes and sizes surrounded him, with Dragon Tamers at their sides, creating a kaleidoscope of activity that left Choo Qin spellbound. The vastness of the Dragon Void made him acutely aware of his own insignificance.

Suddenly, a massive shadow loomed overhead. Alyssa cowered behind him as a colossal dragon soared across the expanse, its presence casting the world into a momentary eclipse.

”Beep! Beep! Beep!”

Snapped out of his reverie by the peculiar beeping, Choo Qin glanced at his hand to find a Dragon Pattern mark that hadn’t been there before.

”Your guide requests a connection. Do you accept?” the message repeated.

After hearing it twice, Choo Qin realized that this Dragon Pattern was likely the primary means of communication within the Dragon Void.

“Accepted.”

As I mentally consented, a phantom slowly materialized before me, clad in a black cloak, scrutinizing me intently.

“Newbie, send me your coordinates. I’m on my way.”

I, Choo Qin, nodded. Since he was my assigned guide, there should be no issues.

Within two or three minutes, a soft red voice sped toward us, trailing sparks behind it.

Astride the dragon was the figure in the black cloak from before.

“Frost Dragon?”

Before I could utter a word, the figure was startled by the petite Alyssa standing behind me.

“Man, you’re one lucky guy, huh? Straight up got the ultimate bloodline?”

He couldn’t help but let out a few expletives, then the figure in the cloak slowly lifted his hood, revealing a cool and handsome face.

“Alright, alright, let me introduce myself.” Noticing my puzzled expression, he remembered his actual purpose.

“I’m Chen Kai, your guide. For the foreseeable future, consider me your mentor.”

“I’m surprised at your patience. When I first joined Dragon Void, I showed up here as soon as I finished the newbie mission. You, on the other hand, took four to five days.”

“And about your Frost Dragon… never mind, comparing ourselves is just frustrating…”

Chen Kai, the man with a penchant for chatter, quickly gave me, Choo Qin, a warm and familiar feeling, perhaps because we were both human.
