Chapter 3875 Terrifying Legacy
Chapter 3875 Terrifying Legacy
"…"
Davis's eyes were wide.
He remained speechless, thinking of how much of a threat it was to the heavens. It was no wonder he was born an Anarchic Divergent. Even if he began with only one Paragon Magical Beast in his tribulation, by now, it would've gone above six.
Such progression was rarely seen, but Kronos Alistair, the Time Divergent's physique, was one such example. He wasn't even an Anarchic Divergent but became one the more he died to a powerful foe, or it was better said the more he twisted the odds of his survival to his favor, the divergence increased.
Instantly, Davis was very much intrigued, wanting to research the Heaven Severing Tongue Physique as it proved to be a deadly weapon against Heaven's Warriors. Of course, it manifested in the form of the tongue, but he guessed the origin should be the soul.
However, his curious nature was quickly snuffed out because he saw the projection at the center.
He heaved a breath and opened his mouth.
"That's awesome. I wish I had a physique like that. My little sister's physique is just the opposite of yours. We would've made a good sibling duo if I had gotten that physique."
"That envy is misplaced, don't you think?"
Jaiyan lightly smiled, indicating that Davis needed to look at himself and his ridiculous power at the Immortal King Stage.
"Well, this and that are different."
Davis shrugged his shoulders before he turned to look at the next person.
"You are…"
He asked as he looked at a slender, ethereal beauty whose aura was one of detachment. Her purple robe, made of a material that seemed to shimmer like the night sky, flows gracefully around her, adding to her mystique. Her features were sharp and refined, with high cheekbones and piercing silver eyes that seemed to see through everything. Her long, jet-black hair cascaded down her back, contrasting starkly with her pale skin.
If he were to describe her in a few words— she looked like a celestial fairy since her beauty was breathtaking. No, it wasn't a Celestial Fairy but a 'celestial' fairy.
"She's Qiyra Darkstar, my first disciple."
"First disciple…" Davis uttered, expecting more from her.
Saintess Lunaria introduced, "Qiyra possesses the Starlight Devouring Veins. Her veins carry the power to absorb and annihilate celestial light energy, in other words, the energy of the sun, moon, and stars. Her body naturally consumes starlight, converting it into abyssal darkness that can swallow everything in her path and distort space and time while even creating rifts that obliterate everything within. She has probably stepped into the next stage, but she hasn't uttered a word about it. Like Jaiyan, her avatar is also at Level Six Empyrean Stage."
"…"
Davis was speechless. Qiyra Darkstar has possibly reached the next stage?
She only gave a light nod at him and didn't speak.
He looked at her closely before moving on as he gazed at the next person. He couldn't help but think that their physiques were indeed calamitous. True Divergents who could change the course of fate with their ridiculous powers.
"Third disciple, Reval Heremic."
Saintess Lunaria moved on to the next.
Reval Heremic was a slender man with a scholarly look clad in silver robes. Despite the scholarly air, as he had a thoughtful look on his face, he had shrewd features that made it seem as though he were a serpent. His deep blue eyes were full of curiosity for him.
He even carried a scroll, seemingly studying while bored.
"He is the possessor of the Core Cauldron Body. His body possesses an extra cauldron-like dantian that allows him to concoct pills, allowing his control and timing to be nearly flawless. As long as the pill doesn't overwhelm him or his knowledge, creating Perfect Tier Pills is as easy as flipping hands for him."
"True. If it weren't for Saintess Lunaria researching my physique and creating a method to connect the extra dantian, I would've remained a cripple my entire life. Also, I could mass-produce pills, so as long as you have enough resources, you could always contact me."
Reval Heremic nodded with a smile, "Of course, you need master's permission first."
"Understood…"
Davis turned to look at Saintess Lunaria. She looked like a proud swan over her talented disciples before she turned to look at a woman.
"You have met her before, but she hadn't met you. My fourth disciple, Frostcloud Sword Empress, Glacia Frigidveil. I gave her last name, and she mastered sword arts. Hence, the Frigid Veil Sword Style, but she also possesses a physique known as the Iceborne Calamity Body, which can freeze the very fabric of space and matter. Her presence lowers the temperature of her surroundings to absolute minimality, so you would be sure not to be close to her."
"My condolences to Niel Bladeheart."
Davis sighed, looking heartbroken.
"Who is that?" Frostcloud Sword Empress blinked, the flutter of eyelids appearing enchanting.
Davis wondered if Saintess Lunaria hadn't informed her of the other disciples, but he guessed that wasn't necessary. Nôv(el)B\\jnn
"He was one of the trialists of your inheritance who entered the finals along with my three wives and another woman. He's also my friend. His parents had saved me once, so I'm indebted to them. Then again, I won't say why I mentioned him. Frostcloud Sword Empress can learn that by yourself."
"That's not a problem. I just need the sword I gave to my disciple, and I should be able to see what happened in the trials."
Davis's brows raised. He didn't know there was such a use for Tanya's inheritance sword.
Nonetheless, he couldn't help but take a look at the Frostcloud Sword Empress again. Despite having such a freezing, calamitous body, she was warm. Perhaps that was the kind of nature she needed to invent the Frigid Veil Sword Style, which encompassed yin and ice, combined hardness and softness, imbued mercilessness and mercy.
He gazed at her with respect.
"…"
Saintess Lunaria narrowed her brows.
Her disciple was getting treated better than her? It didn't make sense, but as soon as she realized what she had done, she shook her head.
"The four of them are all Level Six Empyreans and are in their avatar form." she continued before she gestured at a black-robed woman.
Davis's heart sank when he looked at her.
She was a strikingly beautiful pale woman. She didn't wear a veil, but she looked so sinister. Her black robe, adorned with crimson and violet ornaments, clung to her petite frame, enhancing her otherworldly allure. She had a mischievous smile that revealed sharp, slightly elongated canines, giving her an almost demonic appearance. Her hair was jet-black, wild, and unkempt, framing her delicate, doll-like face.
Her eyes were a deep crimson, glowing with a malevolent light.
"Well, this is my sixth disciple, Kisha. I named her Blackheart since she naturally commits evil as if it is a habit, but I've put a stop to it and taught her the right ways. She's a special lifeform like Wix. I don't know what she is, and neither does she, so she could be a new life form. However, she is most likely from the large branch of the demon tree race. Her essence, infused with dark demonic energy, spreads corruption wherever she goes. She releases spores that germinate into otherworldly fruits after draining life and energy from everything they touch. She could also use the same fruit to charm them into obeying her will."
"Shi~ Shi~ Nice to meet you, Divine Emperor of Death. How many fruits does it take for you to become mine? You look tasty~"
Kisha Blackheart inclined her head and giggled at him.
Davis blinked.
Despite her evil-looking demeanor, there is a certain cuteness to her, like she was the fairy of mischief.
"She does occasionally commit some mischief like stealing something belonging to you and having you come to search for it so she can trap you and drain some energy, after which she is satisfied and lets you go. She means no harm, but you have to be careful if you're going to be close to her."
Saintess Lunaria warned.
"…"
Hearing her words, the other disciples looked exhausted. It seemed like most of them suffered from her mischief a lot of times. Even Wix Voidfield's brows twitched. She may have suffered under the thorns of her senior sister. After all, they were fellow trees, so Kisha Blackheart would've been immensely curious.
