With no time to waste, they launched into their next exchange. Alex spun the spear up from the ground with a swift kick, catching it in one fluid motion as he charged. The heat radiated from its fire-infused tip, lighting the air around him in a fiery glow. Lilith's eyes narrowed as she watched him approach, her whip coiling and uncoiling like a living thing as she prepared for his assault.

The ground beneath them seemed to tremble with anticipation as their battle resumed. Alex lunged, thrusting the spear forward with both precision and force, the flames spiraling out from its tip. Lilith sidestepped the strike, her movements a blend of grace and speed, and lashed out with the whip. It cracked and wrapped around the spear's shaft, trying to pull it from his grasp.

Anticipating her move, Alex held firm, twisting the spear sharply and sending a ripple down the length of the whip. The sudden jolt forced Lilith to release her hold, and she rolled out of the way just as he followed up with a sweeping arc of flames. The heat licked at her heels, but she was already darting back into the safety of the shadows.
