The only reason why the battle could continue was because none of the elders from the Star Shattering Sect were powerful enough to participate, while those at the side of the demonic cultivator were fearful of making a move due to neither of the two fighting to the death showing any sign of weakness over the past three weeks.

Instead of weakness, it seemed like the two of them were only growing stronger as time continued to pass. Making the other True Demon Realm demonic cultivators even less incentivized to make a move and try to fish in troubled waters.

At the same time, the terrifying battle between the two also intimidated any of the other True Demon Realm demonic cultivators from making a move on the Star Shattering Sect's territory, a rather unexpected outcome, as it allowed the sect to operate normally and hunt down demonic cultivators safely even with the winged lion demon beast busy fighting all of the time.

It was only after reaching the border that Xuan Hao realized that the situation of the winged lion demon beast and the demonic cultivator was different from what he had seen through his divine sense.

Instead of it being solely a fight between the demon beast and the demonic cultivator, Xuan Hao clearly noticed that there were countless small blood-colored tendrils, invisible to his divine sense, covering the demonic cultivator and his pet.

Even though he had no idea what this demonic cultivator was planning to do, he was certain that it wouldn't be anything good for the Star Shattering Sect, as it would undoubtedly end up drawing unwanted attention towards the sect if a Demon King Realm demonic cultivator decided to try causing trouble there.

The main problem was not even the attention it would draw, but more so the problem that would follow if the Star Shattering Sect, as an ancient hidden sect, wasn't able to handle a single Demon King Realm demonic cultivator, a situation Xuan Hao wanted to avoid taking place if possible.
