Chapter 73 - Blood Spring Valley's Abnormality.
Aren was flying high in the sky to get a better view of everything around him. He also didn't bother with ground beasts and continued flying straight towards the blood-springs valley.
He didn't fly at his full speed, so it took him one hour to reach the blood-spiring valley.
The valley was quite big and broad between two mountain ranges with a thick jungle.
It is called blood spring valley because in the center area of this broad valley is a mystical blood water spring. Because of this blood water spring, beasts have randomly spawned in this whole valley with similar types of power that are mostly related to blood and corrosive attributes.
In the town, Aren had asked about the blood spring valley in the Alchemy area and knew that there was once a rumor that deep inside the blood water spring was a mystical treasure, and because of that rumor, many people went inside the spring, but none came back.
So people stopped going there for a while, but later it was discovered that the danger is only to those that dive into the spring, and nothing happens to those who stay outside except for getting attacked by beasts.
However, after that discovery, this area became a hotspot to kill beasts and find unique plants and flowers that grow near the blood water spring.
The closer one is to the spring, the more powerful beast they encounter, and the highest recorded beast is the supreme-1 lifeform stage beasts that stay around the spring.
*Screeeeeeeee....*
Aren could see red-feathered vultures flying and flew down to hide from their sight since he didn't want to make a scene here.
[Scarlet Blood Vulture]
-Level: 24
-Grade: Uncommon
-Lifeform stage: Mortal-3
-Health: [3120/3120]
-Defense: Physical [420], Energy [195]
-Attack: Physical [1200]
-Speed: 20 meters per second top speed.
-Skills: <Bloody Claws>, <Scarlet feathers>.
-Ability: <Corrosive Aura>
'It works...,' Aren thought as he looked at the vulture's information. When he thought about seeing its level and lifeform stage, they also appeared.
'Oh yeah, how about its bloodline?' Aren thought, and indeed, an additional tab appeared in the information in his mind.
-Bloodline: Scarlet Blood Altar.
'Scarlet Blood Altar? Hmmm...interesting,' Aren thought as he guessed a reason behind the mystical spawning of beasts here.
He then put his hammer into the inventory and slowly moved deeper into the valley towards the blood spring while being careful of his surroundings.
He was not afraid because, with the Armalist cloak, the flying speed of his armalist gears has increased a lot, and he could escape if he wanted to. He felt that his top speed rivals that of supreme-5 beasts based on his fighting experience in the hidden dungeon of the Demon Yakum's underground temple. So running away from supreme-1 beasts ought to be easy for him.
At first, He, his mother, Quinn, Luna, and auntie Hemila were going to clear Demon Ant's dungeon and then make rapid progress by gaining experience while moving towards this valley, but Reto destroyed that plan.
*Roar....*
Aren stopped and floated in one place as he saw a Crimson Mane Lion.
[Crimson Mane Lion]
-Uncommon

Aren waved his hands as two chakrams flew forward and attacked once before the lion dropped dead as it turned into red sparks and disappeared.
[A Crimson Mane Lion killed, 520 exp gained.]
Aren looked at his stored experience and was kind of speechless. This was also his valuable saving which can he expend to recover completely.
Level: 13 [ 2160/16000 ] ( Stored Exp: 150,720)
All exp now always gets stored, and it's up to him on when to use it and level up.
[ Path- Emporio Armalist ]
-Level: 6 [ 21,110/32,000 Exp ]
He got 20,000 exp by killing that mirage of Yakun helped him progress quite a lot in his Path. Unfortunately, the quest rewards exp don't go to the Path.
He then continued moving slowly for ten minutes before encountering two plant-based beasts that couldn't move from their spot. They looked like an oval dark yellow organic pipe with bloody teeth in them and two vines connected to its two sides that were quite long. Their lifeform stage was Mortal-7.
Aren didn't waste time and easily killed them with his chakrams with a few attacks. Their vines attacked him, but he easily dodged them while floating on his sword.
[ A Blood Humong killed, 670 exp gained.]

He then continued moving for ten more but didn't encounter any beasts, 'Strange...This area should have of those types of beasts.'
After slowly moving for five more minutes, he knew that he was nearing the blood spring, and he didn't encounter any beasts at all.
Suddenly, he smelled a strong odor of blood and frowned.
'Am I close to blood spring now?' Aren wondered because he couldn't see clearly in this thick jungle.
However, since he found an absence of beasts, he flew up and found the tallest tree before hiding in it and tried to observe the rumored blood water spring with his Astral-X eyes.
He focused as his eyesight zoomed deeper, and he finally saw the rumored blood water spring. However, what he saw shocked him.
'This...doesn't look same as what I heard in the town,' Aren thought with a frown because at the location of blood spring was a two-meter tall altar with mystical blood threads circulating around it.
'Whose skull is that?' Aren thought as he looked at the fifty-meter wide and tall skull in the middle of that altar's stand. The skull had a humanoid shape with two pointy horns on it.
Suddenly, Aren saw a face appearing in his eyesight and was shocked even more, 'That looks like one of the two sons of that old man.'
'He is alive and well, but there is a significant absence of beasts here. Most importantly, there is an altar here that nobody in the Alchemy area did mention when I asked about the blood-spring valley's information.
'On top of that, the old man who gave me this quest will post it in the Guild tomorrow with an enticing reward of 10,000 gold and a valuable family heirloom that is not of his family,' Aren thought with narrowed eyes.
His blue eyes gleamed a bit as he muttered, "I smell a grand scheme laid with a bloody trap."
