Classless Reincarnation

Chapter 86 God Power VS God Power!

Jack could see his doom…

The monster would be upon him in mere seconds, and he'd be screwed! But he wasn't about to give up just yet! He glanced at his foxes: "You guys, coordinated attack!"

He issued the order, the mass of fluffy foxes obeying his will. They trembled, a vast quantity of illusory Mana escaping their bodies as they combined it all!

It rose in the air, generating the most massive fireball ever, one so large it could have taken out an Olympic stadium alone! — Glowing! Glowing! Sizzle Sizzle! —

Would this work?! Ah, the Jellyfish seemed scared! Seeing its fear, Jack grinned, shouting: "Go to hell, you leech!" With domineering woos, his foxes went all out!

The spell flew faster than the Jellyfish could wobble and crashed right into it!— WHOOSH! EXPLODE! BOOM! —

It was instantly sent flying, its small body getting thrown right into the crazy blood river, as it disappeared inside! Were they done with it? Either way, it was better to be safe.

"Make sure it doesn't resurface. Drown it!" Jack ordered.

That's when he could finally control his body again. First his feet, then his torso, and finally his arms and hands… gloriously raising a middle finger to the struggling creature.

At this moment, they looked like overkilling Mafia peeps getting rid of a body. A single killing method wasn't enough… but they were even riddling it with fireballs!

Were it to show its ugly, slimy head, it'd instantly be obliterated! — or so they hoped for. Sadly, the reality was far different. Not only did the thing bloody reemerge, but it was intact!

[Calculating Damage Done… Null!]

Null, how?! What made this God's Fragment so strong?! Even now, it was painfully wobbling all over?! Was it because it had some weird deity power?!

"Keep crushing it!" He ordered, trying to find an answer.

As for the foxes, they diligently kept shooting. Every time the enemy would resurface, they'd throw a fireball at it to make it sink… only for it to reappear a second later!

But, with every fireball thrown, the fox spirits' were growing weaker and weaker. It was as if they were using their essence to fuel their magic. Sadly, that wasn't even the worst.

Every attack they did was getting less and less effective, the Jellyfish sinking less and less over time. Not only that, but it was no doubt ready for a counterattack! It was ADAPTING!

Actually, it was even worse…

~ Don't fight it…

~ Just give up and give in…

~ Soon, I'll break free, and then…

The Appraisal God Fragment whispered to his ears, trying to get him to surrender. Jack could already feel its eagerness to play with its new "toy", as it kept breaking free.

The more it recovered its freedom, the worse it got:

[An Unknown Power restricts your Left Big Toe!]

[Your Left Leg is Restricted by an…]

[Your lower body is restricted…]

Damnit! At this rate, he'd have a front row to his execution!

Even the sometimes clueless foxes realized the severity of the situation. Either they killed this thing now, or their master would be in deep shit! "Woo?!" (Master, what should we do?!)

Even now, Jack kept his cool.

The system had said something about "Godly power," right?! This had to be the crux of the problem! That's when Jack sighed deeply, incredibly so!

He needed a weapon to fight this thing… and for that, he needed help, the worse kind of help too. He took a deep breath, resolving himself for the unimaginable.

Here goes nothing… he closed his eyes.

Seeing him act like this, the Appraisal God rejoiced! Good thing the human had given up. After all, resistance was futile.

It managed to go out of the blood torrent, even with the foxes' pathetic attempts at killing it, ogling its target. This one would be so sweet! But just as it was about to reach it…

Jack suddenly opened his eyes wide. Except, there was something strange about them! Glowing orange ones had replaced his usual sky-blue eyes! WHAT?!

That's when the being felt a primordial aura erupt from its target, one that it instantly recognized. The Fire Fox God?! How had its aura suddenly appeared?!

A while back, Jack had used Lizzy's potions to contain the blessing the FireFox God had "generously" given him. But now, he was shattering all that progress!

Luckily, it didn't take long to activate!

Jack felt his spirit torn apart, as if a thousand needles had suddenly been inserted in his brain. Then he felt a primordial urge invade him, one he could barely control.

[You've Activated Fire Fox God's Blessing!]

[Ding! Your Transformation has BEGUN!]

The Fire Fox God too wanted to make him its bitch, but at least the latter was in a partial slumber! This would buy him some time, right? Nope— it did way more than that!

His spirit started morphing.

What had been a logical and human mind slowly devolved into a simple one: hunt and be hunted; there was nothing else. As for the target of the hunt… it was that JELLY!

Jack's restraints all exploded.

Seals made of knowledge? He wasn't the same Jack! No, he was something else. He was… "WOOOOO" A primal scream came from the depth of his being as he charged!

Magic? Strategy? Carefulness? It all flew in the wind as he violently dashed at his prey! He covered the last remaining meters and…

Jump at its throat!

Rip and tear!

DEVOUR!

He felt its soft flesh as he sank his fangs into the thing. This was so good! Finally, it had caught its prey. This meant Jack was a great hunter. No, not just good, the best!

He held the Jellyfish in place with his paws while taking bites at it. It was so delicious! Now, it didn't want the pleasure to end! It would forever remain here a happy fox and…

[Ding! Defeated Appraisal God's Fragment!]

[Ejecting from the current realm in—]

"Woo" A fox protested.

The was no need. Here looked like a fun place. It would keep eating the Jellyfish's corpse until there was none left, then hunt for more of those weird creatures. It would…

"Woo!" (Master?! What happened to you?!)

The foxes were teary-eyed, all of them. Just as a certain fox was about to ignore them, it suddenly felt so close to them. Why did it seem like it had forgotten something?

It probably wasn't important. Hunt, hunt, and hunt some more! It would—

"Wake up, or I'll make you drink Laxatives!"

Lizzy's voice crashed through the world. Laxatives?! How evil could she be?! He was an innocent— Gasp! Wait, that's right, he was human, and this was a test!

Jack hurriedly escaped from the nightmare, only to find yet another trial. The Boulder of Omniscience had turned into rubble, the crowd staring dagger at the culprit, him!

H-How was he supposed to explain this?!…
