Chapter 31
C31 – An Even More Intense Battle
“Sorry, little brother, that won’t do.”
After knocking Zhou Mu’s dagger aside, Demolishor didn’t press the attack but instead began to mock him.
Meanwhile, Jinzi and Gator were locked in combat, their battle fiercely contested and nowhere near conclusion.
The dagger lay a mere three meters away, yet Zhou Mu didn’t dare to move an inch.
The woman was too quick; any sudden motion would invite a swift and painful reprisal.
“You’re a virgin, and I’m single by birth. We could have a more profound exchange,” Demolishor said, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear with a gentleness that could captivate countless men.
But Zhou Mu was in no mood for allure, his chest and arms aching with the desire to give this woman a thrashing.
“Heh, are you saying you’re single after having a child? Is the father of your child a black man?”
Zhou Mu scoffed, then had a mock epiphany, “Actually, that can’t be right. Black men tend to vanish the moment they learn their girlfriend is pregnant, long before the child arrives.”
“You! Scoundrel! How dare you insult me with such lowly slander!”
Demolishor’s face turned icy at Zhou Mu’s words, her bright eyes flashing with lethal intent.
Any woman would bristle at such an insult, akin to equating a pure goddess with a prostitute. The goddess would be lenient not to smite him then and there.
“So, you do get angry,” Zhou Mu noted, toning down his rhetoric as he realized he had gone too far.
“Let me educate you on what respect means.”
No sooner had he spoken than Demolishor lunged at him.
Her long legs lashed out like steel whips, slicing through the air with a piercing screech.
An ordinary Animal Whisperer would be dead on impact.
But Zhou Mu was no ordinary man; with strength, agility, and constitution all at a perfect score of 100, he could take the hit.
Bang!
Zhou Mu stepped back, catching Demolishor’s strike with unwavering resolve.
But he didn’t stop there. His hands quivered, shifting from brute force to fluid motion, gliding up her calf like a swimming fish.
“You!” Demolishor let out a startled cry, struggling to free his leg, but Zhou Mu’s hands clung to her like they were covered in suction cups.
The heat was intense, like flames engulfing her.
The pain was sharp, like electricity coursing through her veins.
As Zhou Mu’s hands glided upward, Demolishor shivered involuntarily, a blush creeping across her pale, delicate cheeks.
She had never felt such searing heat before and was at a loss for what to do.
Zhou Mu caught every nuance of her reaction. There’s a saying: strike when the enemy is sick. A lethal intent flashed in his eyes as he pressed down hard on a critical pressure point.
“Ah!”
A scream escaped Demolishor’s lips, laced with an undefinable undertone.
She trembled uncontrollably, her body momentarily going limp.
Zhou Mu’s strike hit its mark without a hint of mercy.
He clenched his fingers into a fist and slammed it down with ferocity.
Bang!
The force was immense, reducing a mountain peak to a mere hill.
But Demolishor was no ordinary foe. His body was incredibly resilient, and as the punch’s force neared depletion, he managed to forcefully repel Zhou Mu’s hand.
“Why did it bounce?” Zhou Mu muttered, momentarily taken aback, before realizing the gravity of the situation.
Indeed, a moment’s negligence had cost him. Demolishor had broken free from his grasp and retreated over ten meters.
“Pervert!” Demolishor bellowed, his face flushed with a redness that seemed almost to bleed.
In her many years of martial exploits, she had never encountered someone as persistent and shameless as Zhou Mu.
But she would soon come to realize that there’s no limit to shamelessness; there’s always someone more despicable.
What defines shamelessness?
This was the epitome of it!
“Pervert? Hehehe!” Zhou Mu chuckled, rubbing his hands together like a mischievous fly, his expression suddenly taking on a lascivious cast.
This woman was formidable, her body and martial arts skills surpassing his own. And then there was the spirit animal, whose combat prowess was off the charts.
Without resorting to some unconventional tactics, he stood no chance of defeating her.
“Come on, you little wretch!” Zhou Mu sneered with a twisted smile, as his whole persona took on a dark and treacherous air.
“Behold my Dragon Claw technique!”
“And my Black Tiger Heart Pluck!”
“Heart-Shattering Palm!”
“Wailing Infant Fist!”
“…”
There’s an old saying: ‘A tree without bark will surely perish, but a person without shame is truly invincible.’
Once Zhou Mu decided to abandon his humanity, the tide of battle, which had been against him, swiftly turned in his favor.
Zhou Mu’s tactics were shameless and unrestrained, driving Demolishor into a relentless retreat, leaving him in utter agony.
His clothing was shredded, his skin marred with welts.
These were the swollen patches from the fiery sting that had seeped into his flesh, soon to be metabolized away.
“You… you lecherous thief…”
Demolishor panted heavily, struggling to articulate his words.
“What about me? Try this on for size—Pocket-Picking Hand!”
Rip!
With a fierce yank, Zhou Mu tore at the fabric, and in an instant, the dark clouds shrouding the towering peaks scattered.
The sky cleared, the sun beamed down—it was a sight to behold.
“Damn!”
Zhou Mu gulped, suddenly feeling peckish. “If this were real, I’d devour it all.”
“Ahhh! You lecherous thief, I’ll fight you to my last breath!”
Despite his “grave injuries,” Demolishor let out a piercing scream and, disregarding his wounds, lunged at Zhou Mu.
As the saying goes, ‘When a woman gets tough, men are out of the equation.’
Blinded by rage, Demolishor cast aside all shame and resorted to the same dirty tricks as Zhou Mu.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Rip!
His sharp nails ripped through the upper garment, leaving three bloody trails across the chest.
The sturdy leather belt snapped, and his trousers were torn open.
“Crazy woman, are you trying to end my lineage?”
Zhou Mu swore angrily. But before he could strike back, Demolishor’s foot was already flying towards him.
The kick was heavy and vicious.
In any other circumstance, Zhou Mu would have taken the blow and countered.
But not this time!
A man must protect his family jewels from any harm.
He tensed his abdomen, absorbing much of the kick’s force, then arched his back, repelling the attack with sheer force.
“Big bro, you’re sitting on a pretty hefty stash, huh?” Demolishor licked his lips, his face twisted into a menacing sneer. “Today, I’m gonna relieve you of that cash, keep you from wreaking havoc everywhere!”
……
In the office, the principal was the picture of distress, his brows furrowed into a deep “S” shape. Typically, a person would hit their breaking point within ten days and be automatically ejected. Yet Zhou Mu had been inside for a whole month without a peep. He was the Zhou family’s sole heir, Zhou Hao’s own nephew; they couldn’t afford a single mishap. With that in mind, the principal resolved to extract him by force.
His hands fluttered like butterflies, weaving modes into the air. Roughly thirty seconds later, a brilliant light flashed in the principal’s eyes. “Got it!” The moment the words left his lips, the space before him twisted, and two people, stark naked and locked in intense combat, were expelled.
