Back For My Daughter

Chapter 1236 A Formidable Being

Another elder gasped as if he could remember the scene of all those great treasures which were enough to get them those elixirs and pellets to make them attain a higher level of being trashed and shattered into pieces and made their hearts ache.

"And you were about to throw the strange purple bottle that was found in the Mount Hua cave a few months ago."

After finding the mysterious bottle in the Mount Hua cave a few months ago, they all were in high hopes that they might have found an ancient elixir and at the very least it would make them reach a higher realm than before.

Of course, this was not what they had deduced, but was something that the Headmaster told them, in fact, the greed for this elixir was not something that they could fight, but the Headmaster had told them that if they could learn out the composition of this elixir and then make more for themselves, it would be for the best.

And that was why they had their hopes high, but that day they saw the young man shatter the elixir bottle onto the floor.

This had pained their hearts a lot.

Money and treasures didn't matter to them as much as the elixir did and seeing the potion that would have helped them to attain a higher realm turning into nothing, they couldn't only grit their teeth and accept it.

And they also didn't think that the young man might have destroyed it by his own will.

The Headmaster had time and time told him to take great care of the bottle.

Although all of them were older than the young man, they knew very well that they were in no equal strength or footing when compared to him.

The position of the young man was just too much less than his strength which had already surpassed any one of them more than half a decade ago.

Although they were respectful to him on face, they really envied him.

Not just for his gifted ability, but also due to that ability he was able to easily wield the magical energy of the earth to nourish himself and get stronger and also obtain something that they urged to.

It was the gift of being able to live longer.

It was a common idea that as one practised and learned to harness the energy from the world, they would be able to live longer and for the old who were already not any farther away from losing their lives, this was the greatest greed.

And not their hopes had been shattered along with the shattering of the glass bottle containing the elixir.

But they knew that there was nothing they could do right now.

The Headmaster was on his way here from the school and only he would decide what to do further.

"I broke the bottle!"

The eyes of the young man almost popped out in shock upon hearing the words, that was the greatest treasure that he had ever found and even his master was clear with his instructions that no one was allowed to touch it other than him and his master himself.

He knew that the bottle was very important and his master had even told him that there would also be a possibility to be able to reach greater realms with the elixir present in the bottle.

The veins on his head started to bulge while he tightened his fist and the rug started to shred due to his strength.

"SIGH!"

All the elders sighed seeing the expression on his face.

Even if he wanted to, there was no way that he would break the bottle and let the elixir to waste.

And if he really did want to then why would he not use it?

This just didn't make any sense.

The least expectation that they had for the elixir to be able to help was to make them reach two or greater realms in one go.

Another elder then continued.

"After that, the elixir turned into vapours that surrounded you and then you lost consciousness."

The other added.

"And only after a week and more have you woken up again."

"We have informed the Headmaster about this incident, he is already on his way, but is hindered due to school matters."

The elder with a goatee said while walking next to him.

"But I don't remember anything."

The young man frowned, clutching his head.

The bruises on his body were healed after more than a week but he didn't remember anything like that happening.

In fact, everything, after he went out in search of the treasure, was blank.

"Young master, after you fell unconscious, we brought you back to your room and checked your condition. There were a few injuries on your body but they were healed by the medicines and pastes."

"Arghhh, what the hell really happened, why can't I remember anything!"

The young man grunted, pulling his hair.

"Young master, maybe you might have met some formidable foe and the treasure that you had sensed was something that the great senior might have possessed."

One of the elders sighed.

But as he said that, all the elders stared at the elder with wide eyes and disbelief.

"Didn't we all sense the presence of a strong person a few days ago, could it be the same powerful senior?"

They couldn't help but gasp.

The powerful aura that they had sensed more than two weeks ago was enough to make them petrified and was comparable to the aura that the Headmaster of their school had which only made them fear a little.

But they remembered that the aura had given a chill down their spine.

Something that even their Headmaster's presence was not able to make them feel.

"If that is so, young master, you are really very lucky to still be alive, that person's aura was so formidable that it could easily counter Headmaster's whole power."

An elder gasped with a pale face.

They all knew that what he had just said was right, if the powerful person had really gotten irritated then it was not hard for bringing trouble to even them.
