After receiving their respective rewards, they didn't linger any longer and turned to leave.

At this point, it was the turn of the Inspectors from the Lake District main office to start feeling expectant and nervous.

To their perspective, the two divisions, Main Street and Newtown District, which they regarded as sideshows, each investigative team had landed a tax performance bonus of $50,000.

Then, shouldn't their teams, which had made significant contributions to the operation, get at least one or two times that amount?

Amidst everyone's anticipation, David looked around and slowly began, "Since the launch of the Dieter case, everyone has been working hard."
