Chapter 359 Kro Archipelago
The old man was terrified to the extreme, Chen Yu looked nothing like he was here to make a deal, anyone would believe he was here to rob.
"Mr. Kro is in the room over there, if you're willing, you can just take him and go."
Chen Yu narrowed his eyes slightly, his gaze brimming with endless murderous intent.
"We still need to do this by the book, after all, it was you who asked me to come here to ransom someone. Either I kill you all and take the person away, or I pay the money, and you hand over the person."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
The old man's body shook violently, wasn't this situation leading to them all being killed?
But Chen Yu didn't care about that, he knocked the old man out and dragged Kro out of the neighboring room.
The moment Kro saw Chen Yu, he lunged toward him as if he saw a family member.
"Mr. Chen, you finally came. If you had been any later, those guys would have devoured me alive."
Chen Yu's face was full of disgust; who knows how many days this guy had been locked up here, reeking of a strange odor.
"Alright, let's hurry up and leave this place."
Kro nodded repeatedly, almost running out the door.
He had had enough of this place and feared he would go mad if he had to stay even a moment longer.
Chen Yu didn't bother with anything else, he quickly headed to the dock with Kro.
Their cargo ship was trapped in a cove at the dock, along with over a dozen other mega tankers.
Each ship was guarded by people from the Harkes Group.
A large number of crew members and workers were imprisoned in the cabins, unable to get out.
Chen Yu frowned at the scene before him, not expecting the situation here to be so dire.
The Harkes Group, a group built by desperados, feared nothing and no one, not giving face even to the Childe Family.
"Halt, who are you? Do you have a pass?"
A burly man suddenly blocked Chen Yu's path, pointing his weapon at Chen Yu's head.
A gleam of contempt flashed in Chen Yu's eyes. With a flick of his wrist, he pushed the man aside and boarded the ship.
The people from the Harkes Group were startled. They had not expected anyone to brazenly board the ship they controlled.
Just as they were about to force Chen Yu off, a surge of blue and white light suddenly enveloped the entire vessel.
Chen Yu merely extended his hand to touch the hull of the ship, and then the system activated its defense function to the maximum.
The system had, on a chance occasion, undergone a minor evolution. Within its range, the electric current it generated could knock out large groups of people.
However, spreading this current over such a large ship was bound to weaken its effect.
Even so, all the people belonging to the Harkes Group on the ship were stunned instantly.
People from the other ships, witnessing this, were shocked and rushed over, eager to regain control of the vessels.
"Your boss is already dead. From today onwards, the Harkes Group no longer exists. If you want to live, release all the ships here immediately."
Jin Lingsu's voice suddenly spread throughout the entire dockyard through the loudspeakers.
Chen Yu couldn't help but frown.
At that time, he merely stunned those guys and did not take their lives.
But given Jin Lingsu's temperament, how could she possibly let those men off.
She must have circled back after he left and killed all of them.
Chen Yu felt somewhat helpless; this woman's ferocity was unchangeable.
Once it was known that the boss of the Hacks Group had met his end, all the minor players on the ship simultaneously rushed to flee the place.
They were just there to make a living, and now that the boss of the Hacks Group was no more, they naturally had to find a new leader in the shortest time possible, or else how would they survive?
Chen Yu did not concern himself with them. After throwing the Hacks members off the ship, he ordered the crew to set sail.
The Strait of Magellan is situated within the Antarctic Circle, where it is icy and snowy all year round, with ports ice-bound for most of the time, making it impossible for ten-thousand-ton ocean freighters to leave safely without icebreakers.
Luckily, with the Hacks Group gone, the entire dock was Chen Yu's domain.
After a bit of maneuvering, he had control over all the icebreakers here, and then he left triumphantly across the water.
In fact, there was only one ocean freighter belonging to the Childe Family and Tong Group that was trapped here, but there were a full ten ships that left with him.
Many ships that had been forcibly docked here were involved in the grey market, and their bosses simply couldn't come to redeem them.
Some just couldn't afford the hefty ransoms and thus dared not come.
Yet another group had their behind-the-scenes bosses killed and were forced to dock their ships here.
But these matters were of no concern to the crew members; they needed to eat, to support their families, and they had to find a boss somehow.
Chen Yu had easily taken down the boss of the Hacks Group and managed to bring the ships out safely; he seemed every bit the leader of a group.
The fleet sailed across the ocean majestically, and a week later, they arrived at Kro's archipelago.
This place was a transfer station on the sea, where many large fleets would basically need to stop to resupply.
Chen Yu's fleet itself had left the Strait of Magellan hastily, carrying not much in the way of supplies, necessitating a stop here for replenishment.
But as soon as their fleet docked here, a large group of people suddenly appeared on the dock.
The leader wore sunglasses, looking fierce and aggressive, with a scar extending from his face down to his neck.
"Who's in charge of this ship? Get down here and see me immediately."
The domineering and brutal voice startled many of the crew, who all turned their gazes toward Chen Yu.
Chen Yu didn't care about that much, he walked down from the ship leisurely and went straight to the man.
The man was extremely arrogant; seeing Chen Yu coming down, he raised his hand intending to grasp Chen Yu's neck.
Unexpectedly, just as he reached out, Chen Yu's punch swung up, hitting him right at the base of his chin, sending his body flying.
The others around were stunned by the scene, as they had never seen anyone dare to treat their boss with such disrespect.
Just as they were about to take action, a blue-white flash emanated from Chen Yu's body, and they felt an electric current pass through them, causing them to fall to the ground.
Chen Yu did not want to waste time on these guys, so he went straight to the dock with his crew and casually replenished their supplies.
Seeing their boss knocked away and their most elite troops lying on the ground, no one dared to utter another word of protest.
