And so, here we were, on the day of the trip.

We were waiting to board at the Rogard Empire terminal.

Many people were coming and going.

It might not be wrong to call this place the heart of the country after all.

A place where blood was pumped to the entire empire.

–Rogard Empire and Erlin Confederation were adjacent to each other, so it would only take five hours to reach Erlin Confederation by airship in the shortest distance.

Because of such close proximity, there was a lot of fighting between the two countries before the war, which was the reason why the Erlin Confederation also joined the war against the empire.

However, a war between these two countries would no longer be possible in the current times because the economic losses they would suffer doing so would be too great.

If by whatever reason, a war did happen again between them, I was sure that other countries would intervene, that included me, the Demon Lord.

While the Rogard Empire was positioned as a trading point with other races, the Erlin Confederation was a relay point for all airships.

Therefore, it might happen, for example, that although the Rogard Empire was closer in a straight line, it would be quicker to stop at the Erlin Confederation before heading to the Rogard Empire.

Although their roles were different, both countries’ shipping routes were now part of each country’s economic zone, so it would be difficult for them to do anything on their own.

Little by little, but surely, this new system was being solidified.

“Oh, that’s the seventh ship. That is the airship we are going to board this time. Look, Riou and Sakuya, that’s the airship!” (Yuki)

I pointed out a flying airship to the two children in a stroller.

There was no such thing as a stroller in this world, so people were looking at me strangely, but it was very convenient, so I didn’t mind and decided to use it.

I hoped that strollers would become popular in this world as well.

By the way, of the two children riding in the stroller, Riou was twitching her ears and observing her surroundings with a mixture of alarm, anxiety, and interest, while Sakuya was sleeping without paying any attention.

The young girls and the Wraith Girls watched the airship excitedly from the window of the waiting area.
